1. License Grant

We grant you a lifetime, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software on a reasonable number of personal devices (up to 3) for personal or commercial use. This “Lifetime” license applies to the current major version of the software (v1.x) and all its subsequent minor updates. Future major versions (e.g., v2.0) may requiring a separate purchase or upgrade fee.

2. The “BYOK” (Bring Your Own Key) Model

You understand that BeltoVox is a tool that connects to third-party AI services (like Groq or OpenAI).

You are responsible for obtaining your own API keys and paying any costs associated with their use.

We are not responsible for any service interruptions or price changes from these third-party providers.

3. Privacy & Data

Your privacy is our priority. BeltoVox does not store, listen to, or sell your voice data.

All audio is sent directly from your machine to your chosen AI provider via their official API.

4. No Warranty & Responsibility Disclaimer

The software is provided “as is.” While we strive for perfection, we cannot guarantee it will be 100% error-free.

CRITICAL: AI-generated transcription and processing can contain errors, “funny” typos, or misinterpretations. It is the end user’s absolute responsibility to verify all output, especially when used for medical, legal, business, or other critical documentation.

We are not liable for any lost data, missed deadlines, or damages resulting from the use of this software.

5. Restrictions

You may not:

Reverse engineer or decompile the software.
Resell or redistribute your license key to others.
Use the software for any illegal activities.

6. Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee. If the software doesn’t meet your expectations, contact us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund.

7. Third-Party Licenses

This software utilizes various open-source libraries. A complete list of these libraries and their respective licenses can be found in the THIRD_PARTY_LICENSES.txt file included with the software.
